Meet The Chef!

ConjureTea owner and founder Chef Shania Thomas-Floyd has been following her lifelong dreams of dazzling the masses with her special brand of "Pastry Magic". With 15 years of culinary experience under her belt, she is definitely a master of her craft. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, she took her passion for food and her love of all things tea and created ConjureTea. Her hope is that she can forever change the taste buds of her customers for the better. One sip at a time.

The First Teen “Chopped Champion” Fall 2011

At the tender age of 17 Chef Shania enters the first-ever teen edition of Chopped to honor her late brother, who always encouraged her to follow her dreams of becoming a chef; she wants to prove that she has what it takes to stand on her own two feet. After battling three other talented teenagers, she does just that, taking home the win.

“Chopped: Beat Bobby Flay” Fall 2016

After winning the first Teen episode of Chopped, Chef Shania used her prize money to attend the Culinary Institute of America, pursuing her dream of majoring in Baking & Pastry Arts. She returned to the “Chopped” kitchen to see if she still had what it took to take home the grand prize.

“Crime Scene Kitchen” Summer 2021

At 28 Chef Shania returned to TV on Fox’s newest culinary competition show “Crime Scene Kitchen” as a competitor alongside her best friend Chef Hope Marerro.
